Secure Credentials

From corporate badges to national IDs, secure credentials are becoming smarter and harder to forge. Modern solutions integrate multi-layered security features like holographic overlays, laser-engraved personalization, and optically variable inks. Polycarbonate cards, resistant to tampering, are now the material of choice for high-security documents.

Mobile credentials are gaining traction, allowing users to store digital IDs on smartphones with biometric locks. Governments are also adopting blockchain-based verification systems to prevent identity theft. Meanwhile, contactless smart cards with BAC (Basic Access Control) and EAC (Extended Access Control) ensure secure data transmission for e-passports and access control.

The future lies in interoperable systems where one credential can serve multiple purposes—access, payments, and identity—while maintaining strict privacy controls.
